About Us

About — Scott Campbell

"Having experience is always key when looking for a consultant, but finding someone who can also listen and communicate will enhance your organization."

I have a diverse history of experience and have served in several roles in the organizations who I have helped. Always looking to incorporate best practices, I have learned from my clients’ success and will scale services to meet your needs.

I’ve decided to bring my experience in accounting, executive level positions, and leadership to a new company, SCAEL Consulting. Clients can expect tailored services based on their specific parameters and needs. We will collaborate with the Staff, Management, Executive Director, Finance Committee, Boards, Board Treasurer and Board Presidents. We will acquire detailed knowledge specific to each client then provide targeted solutions for their peace of mind, compliance, and sustainability.

Milestones and Achievements Along the Way

Clark, Schaefer, Hackett (CSH) CPAs & Advisors

My most recent position one of the largest professional accounting and financial services firms in Ohio, Kentucky, and Michigan, was that of Director at CSH. As CSH acquired my company, Keelsra Business Services LLC in December 2019, I remained to promote a seamless transition of clients and staff to CSH to provide for client retention and uninterrupted contracted services. Since May 2022, I have concentrated on business development for the Managed Accounting and Financial Services group, reviewing all prospective client financial information to qualify leads, and produced and presented proposals to those clients.

Owner and Founder of Keelsra Business Svcs LLC.

I grew a business from four clients with zero employees to forty clients with ten employees, then successfully transitioned the business to purchasing CPA firm, Clark, Schaefer, Hackett CPAs & Advisors. At Keelsra, we assisted Non-Profits, Governmental Agencies, and Small Businesses in comprehensive accounting needs and contributed at various levels of accounting support. We offered transaction support to advisory services while acting as the fiscal agent for each client.

The idea of Keelsra was born during an urgent unexpected needwhile serving as the Director of Business Operations at a two-county mental health services board in Ohio.  I assumed the responsibility of the Executive Director’s position during a personal leave of absence. During that difficult time, I was able to add value to continuing relationships with the Board of Trustees, Local Mental Health/Drug and Alcohol providers, Ohio Department of Mental Health (ODMH), Ohio Department of Drug and Alcohol Services (ODADAS), and numerous grantors.  With the aid of my staff, we provided advice and professional confidence which allowed the services to continue seamlessly.
